TTC TO HOLD SESSION FOR WOMEN INTERESTED IN NONTRADITIONAL CAREERS

Trident Technical College is holding an information session for women interested in nontraditional careers such as civil engineering technology, automotive repair and welding. The session will be held Feb. 27 at 11:30 a.m., followed by a tour at noon. The location for the information session is Building 800/Student Study Lounge at Trident Technical College’s Main Campus, 7000 Rivers Ave., North Charleston.

Attendees will explore nontraditional careers for women, meet women who have excelled in nontraditional careers and tour TTC’s Industrial and Engineering Technology instructional facilities. Refreshments will be provided, and door prizes will be awarded.

The information session is sponsored by TTC’s Division of Industrial and Engineering Technology and Project ASSIST, a federally funded program designed to increase student success for those pursuing nontraditional careers. For more information, call 843-574-6525.
