The Professional Accountancy Certificate is designed for the nontraditional market not currently being served by the Accounting Degree. This certificate requires the completion of 27 semester credit hours. This certificate empowers those interested in increasing their skill level to advance in civil service or private business accounting positions.
The Bookkeeping Certificate prepares an individual for entry-level accounting positions. This certificate also requires 27 semester credit hours. Basic skills in accounting, individual tax and payroll are completed. Training in computerized accounting and electronic spreadsheets utilizing accounting applications are also included.
