CIC students assisted in many areas during the Festival, working with such outstanding chefs as Richard Blais, Johnny Iuzzini and Bobby Flay.

Kicking off the week, Festival Guest Chefs Tory McPhail of Commander's Palace, New Orleans, and Chris Hastings of Hot & Hot Fish Club, Birmingham, came out to do demos at the CIC.




The CIC Sponsored Chicago Chef Gale Gand at the Festival. Chef Gand did a demo for the public and was one of the three national celebrity chefs highlighted at the Saturday night event, Bubbles and Sweets. CIC students assisted Chef Gand in preparing 600 samples of her featured dessert.






CIC students assisted in many areas during the Festival, including the Competition, the CIC booth in the Vendor Village and at the South Carolina Education Lottery BBQ.
